Crown Jewels Mail Delivery Slow? 1969 issue.. I got a kick out of how times have changed since our magazine, Crown Jewels of the wire and the postal system has changed over the years. Now I believe everything probably goes Air delivery within reason. It still takes about 2 -5 days for a letter to get from the west to the east.
