From what I understand this is the 30th Anniversary of this annual festival of frozen-food treats at your local grocer. My late mother worked for a local major supermarket chain (and my sister does, in her following..) and both have done many promotional "March Frozen Food" exhibits at their stores donating a lot of their own time and resources. Sorta like organizing/setting up an insulator display at a show, except their work was viewed by a much larger public audience...and for a full month's duration..and often took many more hours to organize and to maintain. So...get on down to your local market and check out the frozen food specials this month since the forementioned celebration is well promoted in much of America! PS...This is not an advertisement. It simply is a historical perspective that lives to today. Fondly my relatives (as above) have made this "campaign" character amusing as well as consumer-conscious complementing their grocer-retail day-to-day contact, humurous as this concept is ;-) =========================== |
