Here is the Shawinigan Falls to Montreal transmission line. The source states that it is around 1905; but I suspect it to be later than that; no later than 1940. WHERE ARE THE M-3250 INSULATORS? Mr. Gish mentions that the M-3250 were replaced with Goddard Multipart insulators, and the Goddard type insulators came about in the 1920s. It looks like these are the original poles judging by the constructions methods, however the crossarms and pins have been replaced to accommodate the ugly Goddard Type multiparts. |
