Showing the Ohio Brass M-4395 using the dual insulator arrangement. I suspect that the M-4338 and M-4395 were specially made and designed by the Toronto, Niagara, & Lockport Power Co. to be as versatile as possible. The cross top crowns combined with the clamp friendly circular portion of the crown would make it very easy for the lineman to make their own equipment. Many of the pictures with M-4395 have unusual switches or conductor supports being shown fastened to the unique crown of the M-4395. |
