This is an old current transformer (C.T.) that I recovered from a farm being demolished in Tracy years age. Most places out in the country didn't have natural gas and were all electric. Until the1960's an electrical load that exceeded 100 Amps had to be metered with a current coil meter rather than a standard A-Base or Socket type. I decided to put this back in service measuring KWHR load to the dryer.
