Photo taken around 1910. Among my favorite old-house designs. These were kind-of common here in the Boston area from around 1870-1910. The earliest ones were of post-and-beam construction, built from the later 1660s. A fair number of these constructed through the 1700s are still standing here in Massachusetts.
