This is what our house looked like 114 years ago (from 2014) Today is looks much the same, save for being relocated eight miles to our home place. The window trim, siding, carved porch brackets with finials and turned columns are all still there, in very good shape too. We don't have all the trees in front of the house, though. This picture was sent to us from relatives of the previous owners who live in California. They were overjoyed to hear of my wife and I's plans to return the house to its original glory and have now become new friends. When the previous owners moved out due to health reasons, the house temporarily fell into the hands of a farmer who simply wanted the central heat and air salvaged and the house torn down. We would not hear of it. In my bullheaded ways I managed to purchase the house intact and move it to our farm where we are now restoring it. We hope to be moved in by late spring 2014.
