This photograph was taken from the collection of Christopher Hedges. It contains U#s 582 through 588, which covers all of the "pogo" style Insulators. It also contains some early glaze-welds, which are the five standing in the bottom row starting from the left (U-939 I believe). These are much more fragile and scarce. The white ones are the earliest and are from the Boch patent era and were most likely made by Thomas. Look at all of those beautiful glaze variations! These styles are very hard to find and most of them are over 100 years old. Thanks to Chris H. for letting me post this picture of his all-encompassing collection of this style. |
