What we call the CD 127 (far left) was reported in the Sept 1871 issue of the Telegrapher as a "New" pattern. On March 22 1877 Brookfield was issued a patent for the design of insulator pictured in the middle. What we call the CD 126 (far right in photo) can also be found with the 1877 patent. Jan 14 1879 insulator design patent issued to Brookfield is the truer represntation of our CD 126 and most commonly found on this insulator. The 2nd and 4th insulators in the photo show design improvements that didn't warrent patent applications.
