Made in England, patent No. 57441, dated 29/10/26, and is called a FUSHACKLE.

As the name would suggest, it appears to be a combination FUSE / SHACKLE.

The most interesting part for me is the logo, shown twice on the top. Click on Original picture for a blow up of the details, but what I have found resembles a musical Treble Clef symbol, with the letters E O A interspersed, over the word Co., again, over the word ENGLAND .

Is anyone familiar with this logo, and is it possible the EOA might relate to the EOA ( Electrical Ordinance Accessories ) mentioned in the 2nd Keith Neal book on page 26. Are you familiar with this logo, have you seen it before, and where. Your thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Robin Harrison has made an excellent suggestion. Perhaps instead of a Treble Clef sign, it is actually an Ampersand, which would connect the 3 initials EOA for either Electric & Ordinance Accessories Co., or possibly Electric Ordinance & Accessories Co.
