Two bottles in my demijohn collection that show the Samuel Oakman "Molding Glass" Patent #187725 of Feb. 27, 1877. Samuel Oakman was known for his insulators and thread making in insulators. Both bottles came from the Lyndeboro Glass Factory in New Hampshire where American and Oakman insulators were also manufactured. Bottle on the left shows the Samuel Oakman patent date and the right bottle is the unembossed bottle.
