Built in the late 1940s when Levittown was built. Throghout the 1970s and 1980s the sub underwent many changes: metal-clad switchgear for the 13kv, expansion of 138kv including 138kv to 13kv transformers and 138kv to 69kv transformers, 33kv taken out, and addition of 345kv from the Neptune Converter Station that receives 500kv DC power from New Jersey.
