Both Real and Fake together. Osprey nest on the near pole has been in use for 20 years. When they upgraded this line last year, they reinstalled the nesting platform. They also installed the metal woodpecker on the far pole. Maybe to keep the ants away ? I was told that woodpeckers use dead trees (poles) as sounding trees to indicate their territorial boundaries.
