We all lost a great collector and friend in Maury Tasem on July 2nd, 2013. He was #29 in the N.I.A. and had many hobbies in life including insulator hunting and collecting. He is well remembered in San Diego area where he lived for years before retiriing to Fort Jones, a small historic site in northern California near Yreka. He lived in a historic older home with his wife Kate (Kaletta) and their many pets and with her younger daughter for the last year. Maury died of Cancer and will be missed by a lot of us. He fought the disease of Leukemia for 5 years and then passed peacefully and with no pain into eternity last week.
