When I saw the wooden pin on the ground it occurred to me there could be an insulator nearby. Within 20 feet of the pin I saw this green CD 154 faced upside down next to a rock. To my joy it was complete with only the damage on the top which must have been caused when it hit the rock. The picture doesn't show the colour correctly. It is not aqua but green and the type of green many foreign insulators are found in. It is embossed Esperanza SA.

So finally after nearly a week of seeing insulators but not being able to reach any I now have my first piece. Hopefully in the final two days I will be able to find another one.
