Manzanita is very common around the tower bases of the Child's Fossil Creek Line. It grows very well were the crews have cleared other taller vegetation. I can't even recall how many Thomas 12" plate insulators and cobalt blue signs have been found under Manzanita but this is a sample of what it looks like!
