Years ago this was all whitetail country, but within the last 25 years an invasion of swamp-donkeys(moose) have now inhabited this neck of the woods, The small soft maple trees are now a choice part of there diet, in the fall/winter when the ponds tighten up. The teeth marks, also scar the trees in the area of the Lands and Forest telegraph line.. Another new reference point.. enjoy
