Taken on May 18th, 2012- a Union Pacific SD90/43MAC leads a westbound manifest train through the Columbia River Gorge. The codeline pictured to the right is still in use today for signaling and DC power. Some high tension lines can be seen in the background, "freshly minted" power from the John Day Dam just 10 miles up the river.
