Collectors will tell you that all open wire lines in Holland were removed years ago and put underground. There is nothing to be seen nowadays.

I can prove those collectors wrong. The other day I spotted this line along a small country lane full of insulators and in use. Why have these survived when everything else disappeared? Who knows, but even in countries that supposedly removed everything there is always something that may still be found in some remote area.
