With all of the recent news involving North Korea, I decided to pass along some insulator photos which were posted on a Facebook page. These are all white porcelain insulators, alongside a railroad track, in some indeterminate location in the DPRK. This nation does not call itself "North Korea", they prefer to use "Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea" or simply "Korea". Zoltan (in Hungary) informs me that these may be leftover Japanese insulators, from their occupation of the Korean Peninsula and Manchuria between 1910 and WWII. NK insulation production started around 1955 and continues presently.
