While out driving the back roads of Medina County, I came across the Lytle to Hondo Texas 138kv transmission line where it crossed the Quihi West 69kv line and the 138kv line was grounded at a tower in the middle of nowhere. I did not see any line crews working on this line for several spans in either direction from the grounds, but his is a main line feeding Hondo Texas and when I worked on this line years ago, the crews were never allowed to have this one out of service for very long. Maybe the crews went to lunch or something!
