CD 104 Wm. Brookfield /New York

The following item was found on the Georgia Central Ry telegraph line in the late 1960's. It was found half way between Macon and Fort Valley, GA. This CD 104 {MLOD} is skirt embossed Wm. Brookfield (arch) /New York and is a rich yellow-green color. I've always wondered why one would find a telephone insulator on a Western Union telegraph line - my thought is that it was used as a replacement insultaor. This photo was taken with overhead florescent lighting. I will also post a second picture taken outside in daylight.
