Got my price guide for porcelian insulators from Elton Gish a couple months back. Of course those won't answer my questions about this wire guide strain. Somebody sent this piece do me unexpectantly as a gift with some glass insulators recently. Reminds me of a squash. Has eight flutes going around and measures 5 inches long by 4 inches wide. Has three glazeless stubs on one end which it must have stood on while being fired. Think I may have seen at least one of these before but not positively sure. Looked here at Icon and came up empty handed. Anyone out there that knows what I have. Who made it and what it might be worth??
