A parcel arrived today from an old friend, who works for the Union Pacific Railroad! Included in the package was a 'bottle cosy', four UP pins and two radio strain insulators! The glass radio strain is unmarked. The porcelain radio strain is marked "SELLIKO-LEE 14287 MADE IN ENGLAND" The name on the porcelain may be incorrect, as I cannot read the first and last letters of the first word "SELLIKO". Any thoughts on it? Chris EDIT - Thanks folks! I've gotten several responses which lead me to believe that it is either marked 'BELLING-LEE' or that part of the marking is 'IN6', referring to insulators intended for military use. Thanks! |
