Home sweet home. Here is a view that I grew up with. The TENNESSEE CENTRAL ran right in my back yard. The eastern end of the switch yard was here at my back door. Looking west on the right is my homeplace. Farther down the tracks on the left you can see the old telegraph shack and beyond that the coaling facility. Still have the switchstand from this end (BETHLEHEM MODEL 53). Also, still have the SUMMIT YARDS sign as well. Railroad tracks are all long gone and street has been there for over 15 years now.
