The recent excellent discussion of Grand Canyon insulators prompts me to post a couple of pictures that we took in 2009. Here's the train, parked for the day at the Grand Canyon end of the line. At the top of the picture you can see the El Tovar Hotel in the background.

Note that the consist includes what appears to be a cabless locomotive, plus a power car.
