The Winters here are long and cold and this Winter has been early and colder than some. This is Upper Klamath Lake located in Klamath County, Oregon. A couple of mornings ago it was a balmy -14 degrees but it warmed up to a roaring 22 degrees later in the day. The lake is completely frozen over and will be like this until at least late February or early March. Mt. McLaughlin can be seen in the background.
