I had to drive up to the park today on a work order. I love the drive in the Winter. I don't have to put up with thousands of tourists, clogged roadways, loud noise, stupid questions and nowhere to park. The South entrance is open year round and only the few cross country skiers, snow shoers and outdoors type are about. On a week day early morning I had the entire rim walk to myself.
