Odd, shorter poles by rails that power (I think) the debris-detecting devices they use to keep train travel through the mountains safe. Here the train actually was stopped on a curve so i could see the more forwards cars through my window. Stopping was mostly weather related although sometimes we were on sidings waiting for a freight train to pass (once for an hour+).
