Rescued today from an old building. This insulator was used to support the connection to the ground of the lightning rod. The old building, previously a bar/restaurant active since the beginning of 1900's, is under restoration works. Today I noticed that the workers had mounted the scaffold to work on the wall with the insulator, so I could ask to the workers and rescue it, just in time! They were ready to remove and probably destroy it... I will keep it with its iron cord and tie wire.
