History of a SCE&G Pole

You can see the pole in the 60s-70s on the lower left (image from the USC Digital Collection). The building behind it was under construction then. Its got a clear Pyrex, metal arms and an old street light. The next photo, upper left, is from Google Street View in August 2007 and shows the insulators and street light have been replaced. The building behind it seems to be abandoned. The last photo taken by the hi-def Google Street view in August 2011 shows the old pole cut off and a fresh pole is standing beside it. Also notice the building has been refurbished.
