Early years, railways used wooden signs, ie station, whistle, wing, flanger, and mileboard signs, all were constructed of wood, I remembered this old sign as far back as 1970 and it looked well aged then..It, s knot thee earliest for this location but was know doubt constructed in the Canadian Northern or Canadian National Railway era, s.It, s a Station And Swing Bridge location, back when the Canada Atlantic Railway was established......Great to see this old antique still remains....from days gone by..but not forgotten.. |
