Looks like this creb was made in a bread oven. Have seen and handled many Brookfield beehive crebs but never seen anything like the annealing crack at the top of this one. Or, any other CD#;s in any make. Have you? It is a Jan 25 1870 EIN. The gap is at least 1/16th inches wide and just as deep. If you look close at my pic you can see the top of the shop #1 is on the left side of the crack while the rest is on the right side.
