Full tubal nudity, these are the WWII era metal envelope, octal-based vacuum tubes, which are much more rugged than the delicate glass ones. Fortunatelythese tubes are still widely available, and at a modest cost, as the "audio" and guitar amp folks (of which I am one) don't have any real use for them.

For itsapprox 65 year old vintage, and indeterminate long-term storage, it is in amazingly clean condition, usually these are found in damp basements or outdoor sheds, and are rusty, dusty, crusty and musty, and commonly filled with dead bigs and mouse nestsand droppings, and other really nast, y revolting stuff.
