David and Joe's recent posts of outhouses reminded me of a privy that a few buddies and I visited on a 4x4 trip to Cerro Gordo, CA, last year. This ghost town sprung up in the 1860s, but this outhouse has been revamped for current use, so needless to say, the digging tools were not put into action. I have vowed to return, though, and place a couple insulators on the pin brackets near the top.
