Built in 1904, the Ninety-Six Cotton Mill was one of Ninety-Six, SC's first major industries. The mill made broadcloth or broad cloth. It was later absorbed into the Greenwood Mills. It was demolished a few years ago and the site will become a park for the historic 96 mill village. http://www.ninetysixhistoricalsociety.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=112190367 |
