Got this picture from someone I know up in North Dakota and which illustrates the ongoing flooding issues at Devils Lake. This was taken last spring on ND highway 57 near Ft. Totten; it was closed not long after this picture was taken (forcing the person who sent me this to take a much longer way around to US 281).

This section of US 281 was soon abandoned in favor of a new alignment above the maximum elevation of the lake.
