Ran this race yesterday down 1A along the New Hampshire sea coast. Misserable weather for a foot race 45 degress and damp with a little spit. Luckly the heavier rain held off until the awards banquet at the Ashworth Hotel. The race is actually 20.2 miles so you end in Mass. The course uesd to run from Kittery, Maine to Salisbury, Mass but the bridge from Kittery to Baddger Island and from Baddger island to Portsmouth is out for repairs. The usual motto is "One race three states." Anyway, I ran it in 2:04:19 which beat my time from last yeay by a wooping 3 min 11 seconds! Over all I was 8th out of 443 runners and 7th in the under 40 catagory. The way they run the awards is screwy they have a 1 to 39 age group? weird isn't it.
