2/1920 insulators for a telephone line

this old pole, put in service just after the WW2, held 24 wires for the telephone line connecting Pisa and Florence. It's the only pole I know with these insulators, while the ordinary equipment consisted in porcelain TS1FP. I remember the three upper crossarms with wires, at the times of my childhhod. Photo taken a few weeks ago between Pontedera and Montecastello
