This ad for PFC insulators (from Marilyn Albers' files) was probably from circa 1899, which was about the time they started business. They actually started producing insulators several years earlier. It is interesting that the bottom row of insulators appear similar to those made by Fred Locke in 1901-1904. Note the round crown with lug-ears, which are nearly identical to that found on Fred Locke styles, U-925 and U-929. The last one on the bottom right is reminiscent of M-2795 without the eaves trough and gutter. |
