Here is another raptor shot. The awesome symbol of our Nation with a transmission tower in the background! About lunch time today I stopped and took these photos from my service truck open window. The eagle had been gorging on his kill located just out of the picture.

He was way too full a belly to want to fly away. These photos were taken at a distance of less than 20 feet. He just stayed perched on this farmers fence line while I snapped away for about ten minutes. I have never been able to get this close to a Bald Eagle for pictures before!
