Got this flag from my late father's possessions. He got this while serving in the U.S. Army in about 1946. My dad spent time in Japan, and Korea in the 1940's and early 1950's. I believe the flag is a Japanese Naval flag. It measures 31" wide and 26 1/2" high. The Japanese porcelain insulator is marked Iwabuchi and dated 1937. Enjoy.
