Here is another pole just South from the last one. It also has a red tail hawk keeping warm. The Klamath basin here in Klamath Falls, Oregon has the largest Wintering population of American bald eagles and assorted other raptors of any other state in the Union except for Alaska.

Winters here are cold and long but the Summers are awesome and if you cross country ski and snow shoe hike like me its paradise. I live about 25 minutes from Crater Lake National Park. Its open all winter long and man is it fun to snow shoe about the crater rim on sunny Winter days. Come visit and bring your camera. You will love it. You might even get a glimpse of the Park Elk Herd near Sun Pass.
