Here's a couple neat signals I recently picked up. I thought other collectors would be interested in seeing the one on the left a little more. The white swath in it appears to be a two-inch swath of acrylic caulking. It's definitely not snot or milk, and when examined closely, it has a shine to it within the glass. Makes for an interesting piece. I'm wondering if the caulk could have been used in an attempt for some kind of mold or mandrel repair? The caulk is sitting right along the threads. When looked at through the pinhole, it almost appears the caulking is nearly through the glass but not quite. The piece on the right is a 134 with so much amber that there is only a small portion left that is the usual aqua color. |
