The only word to describe the bubble in this signal is monstrous. It is so large that it protrudes out of the inside of the skirt by more than 1/2" and pushes back and creases the inner skirt which was still soft at the time. It extends further into the insulator as well. I still can't believe it wasn't broken in service.
