I tried and tried to capture the color teal in a photo, and I just couldn't do it. No matter what I lighting I used (indoors and out), my teal pieces just look dark aqua in a photo. The photos look nothing like real life. This photo is as good as I got. The two bottles on the left are unequivocally teal (an ink, and a Palmer bottle). The next two insulators are (in my opinion) good Brookfield teals (CD 161.2 & 133). The 162.5 and 124.3 are closer to a dark aqua. And the far right 133 is just a medium aqua with amber. You can scarcely tell in the photo. All these pieces look dark aqua to me. But if you view these pieces in real life, the 161.2, and the 133 in the middle just absolutely pop! The three pieces to the right are subdued by comparison. Does anyone have any tips to capture the color teal in a photo? Perhaps I just need a better camera (it's an older Sony Cybershot). Thanks for looking. |
