Woodshop 101

I took advantage of the nice cooler weather here in Florida and sat outside to make some poles. I used an old peice of cedar that was a shelf at one time. Using only a knife, sandpaper, and pushpins to start the holes (and serve as insulators).

What you see on the table is what I used to make them, all in all it was a fun project. Just need to get some glue and attach the crossbraces....

It's cool to see how a rough peice of wood like the one by the plastic CD 154 (my black gold ;-)) can be transformed into the finished poles or crossarms.
