Being I've had the insulator on the right in my pic I searched through the questions/asked album to see if I've asked the following questions about it in the past. I found out during my search that there were only a hand full and maybe a finger or two of questions asked regarding CD 152 Brookfields. The majority were asked by guess who? None were related to Brookfield CD 152 EIN questions or unlisted Brookfield 152 insulators. So, now I guess you can guess what my main questions will be, right? I start by describing the insulator in question. To start with it has a round base with MLOB as does it's nieghbor on the left. Both also have low hoop skirts simular to Hemingray 40's. The insulator on the left is 005 EIN with the 7/16" embossed 8 at the top of the dome. The insulator on the right has number 4 that measures 3/8. There are 5 EIN options available in the PG (2007) with round bases. I've eliminated all five options for the following reasons. The first is 005 because it is suppose to have a #8 at the dome only. All of the next three options (060, 070, and 080) have numbers below the Brookfield embossing on the front skirt. The last EIN mentioned is an 055. I've had pleny of those being they were used heavily in my area. They have no dome numbers. All the last four EIN's also have different profile skirts. I know that from my experience at all. So what do I have? I don't want to answer my own question and that is why I'm asking. If other Icon members have an opinion or if they have one like mine I would like to hear from them. I'm trying to get some Idea as to how common this insulator is. It's my opinion that the 005 should include a #4. That being because I know all other EIN's with numbers are 1/4" or less in size. |
