The insulator in question is the one on the left in my pic. It has no periods after the H. All listings in the PG have H.G.CO. on the front skirt with SDP's. Would this insulator be considered one that is listed or one that is not? I know periods variations are all included in the same EIN with other Hemingray insulator. Don't know if that applies to these 151's. Any response knowing the correct EIN would be appreciated. I also noticed that the top of the dome on the right insulator isn't as rounded off as the insulator in question and the lettering style is different. Maybe that will help one of you 151 specialist out there in insulator land. Thanks.

1) First Response :

A Grumpy Old Man says the insulator on the left is script embossed while the one one the right is stamp embossed and less common and desirable. Still would like to know which EIN each is in accordance to the price guide being their are several EIN's which sharp drip points. Otherwise what good is the PG?

2) Second Response : (stab at EIN Question)

The one on the right is [090] in aqua and the one on the left is [140] and definitely blue aqua.

Note : There is still now way for anyone to determine what insulator EIN someone has the way they are listed

3) Third Response :

The piece on the left does have script embossing and should be listed as a Smooth base ; Transition style embossing. This listing isn't in the price guide yet, because not enough research has been done on these to tell if some or all of the 151's with drips were converted from smooth base molds. The piece on the right in your pic has both script and stamped embossing. The H.G.Co. part is script. So, this was also a smooth base mold and then when the drips were added the stamped patent date embossing was added
