This morning I placed three pieces on my desk at work, that they may act as reminders of a few important things.

- On the left, a fantastic bit of midnight ink porcelain I purchased from Gilberto Hedges-Blanquez at the Merritt 2011 show....a reminder to laugh....and laugh.

- On the right, a milk swirled | 102 purchased at the same show from Reid Ryder....a reminder to embrace new friendships, for they can sometimes feel as comfortable as old ones.

- In the middle .:sigh:. in the middle, an incredible amber swirled olive Brookie, received from Ted Ingram on 04 August 2001 at the first WCIC tailgater....a reminder of the value, the splendid gift, the tremendous blessing of old friends.

I am rich.
